Thomas D. Moore, Jr.

Of Voorhees, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, age 83 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Rossetti). Devoted father of Alice F. Moore, Eric Moore (Tiffany Novak), and the late Thomas D. Moore, III. Dear brother of Rosemary Auge, Edward Moore, and the late Frances Moore, and Veronica Day. Loving grandfather of Dylan E. Moore and Jessica Knight. Tom graduated from Rutgers University, Camden and managed a claims office at Hanover Insurance for many years. In his younger years, he drove eighteen wheelers for the Teamster’s Union. Tom enjoyed playing golf, weightlifting, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies as well as spending time with family. Tom and his late wife were passionate about animals and loved rescuing strays from the city streets of Camden. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 9:30am until 11am at St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, 27 Kresson Rd, Gibboro, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, www.awanj.org.
