Robert J. Banning

Formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving family age 78yrs. Beloved husband of the late Ellen (nee Prettyman). Devoted father of Ellen Holdiman (Jeffrey), Marie Yacovelli (Pasquale) and Bobbi Jo Nelson (Brian). Loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Jeremy, Patrick, and Robert. Affectionately known as “Kitchen Bob,” he served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Teamsters Union Local 107 with over 30 years of service as a Truck Driver. In his leisure time, Kitchen Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
