Leonard J. Staskiel

Age 87yrs, passed away suddenly on 11/27/2020. A LOYAL LOVING family man, a resident of Barrington, NJ, he leaves behind his wife of sixty years Thelma (Del), daughters Nina, Maryann and Karen, his son Lenny, stepdaughter Athena, sons in law Bob, Joe and Craig and grandchildren Brian, Caitlin, Kevin, and Brad as well as his beloved dogs, Pinkie and Midnite. Preceded in death by his mother Mary Machuzak Staskiel, father Bernard Joseph Staskiel and sister Cynthia Lapinski. A proud Korean War Veteran, Len was originally from the coal region of Mt Carmel, Pennsylvania. He was a coach for youth sports including the Barrington Colts football program along with youth hockey for the Gladiators and Aces. He loved life and his work as an electrician where he was a member of IBEW Local 98 for 50 years working on hi-rise projects throughout the Philadelphia Region. Len was a devoted sportsman all his life providing family & friends with fish and game for many years. He was a life member and past President of the J&S Fish & Game Club in upstate Pennsylvania. His greatest joy was in spending weekends with his buddies cooking, cleaning and spotting game. The late night card games were memorable. The loss of this man has been unbearable for all of us.
