Kathleen M. Higgins

(nee Murphy) Passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, age 85 yrs. Devoted mother of Kathleen Higgins-Dorsey (Jim), Colleen Quick (Scott), Tom Higgins, Dan Higgins (Kristin), Sean Higgins (MaryLou), and Maureen Bergeron. Dear sister of Sr. Shelia Murphy, SSJ. Loving grandmother of Dylan, Kelly, Doug, Julia, Diana, Abby, Meghan, Jennifer, Brittany, and Richard. Kathleen was born and raised in Philadelphia and lived for many years in Marlton. She worked for over 50 years as a Registered Nurse, retiring from the American Red Cross with over 30 years of service. Kathleen was a devout Catholic and was a founding member of St. Isaac Jogue’s Parish where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Additionally, Kathleen was devoted to her family and enjoyed playing Bridge. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday morning from 9am to 10am at St. Isaac Jogue’s R.C. Church, 3 Lord Place, Marlton, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
