Josepha M. Sheridan

(nee Heath) On October 15, 2017 of Gloucester Township, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, age 94 yrs.  Devoted mother of Andrea Sheridan.  Dear sister of the late Benjamin Abrahams.  Mrs. Sheridan prided herself in her strong work ethic, working until the age of 90.  During World War II, she worked in the defense plant as a "Rosie Riveter."  She later went to work for Caldwell Manufacturing retiring after 30 yrs of service and then went to work for Elwyn Industries where she retired after 30 yrs at the age of 90.  Mrs. Sheridan was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church for many years and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.  During her leisure time, Josepha enjoyed traveling to Navy reunions and gardening.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday morning from 9am to 10am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd, Blackwood, NJ.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.  For directions and to express condolences please visit www.njfuneralhome.net
