Jesus Castañeda Rodriguez

Jesus Castañeda, lovingly known as “Chuy,” passed away on January 4, 2026. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a deeply loved soul whose presence brought light and laughter to everyone around him.

Chuy was strong and hardworking, but it was his heart that truly defined him. He was silly, full of life, and always ready to make others smile or laugh, even on their hardest days. He cared deeply for people and consistently put others before himself, offering kindness, humor, and support without ever expecting anything in return.

Above all else, Chuy loved his family. His wife and two children were the center of his world and his greatest pride. The life he built with them meant everything to him, and his love for them was constant, unwavering, and unconditional.

Chuy will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, his strength, and the joy he brought into the lives of so many. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever.

He is survived by his beloved wife and children, who will carry his spirit with them always. May he rest in eternal peace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday evening from 6:30PM to 9:30PM at St. Jude R.C. Church 402 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10am in the church. Please arrive by 9:30am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ. Jesus Castañeda, conocido cariñosamente como “Chuy”, falleció el 4 de enero de 2026. Fue un

esposo devoto, un padre orgulloso y un alma profundamente querida cuya presencia traía luz y

risas a todos los que lo rodeaban.

Chuy era fuerte y trabajador, pero con un corazón realmente muy grande. Era divertido, lleno

de vida y siempre dispuesto a hacer sonreír o reír a los demás y muy servicial, incluso en los

días más difíciles. Se preocupaba profundamente por las personas y siempre anteponía a los

demás de sí mismo, ofreciendo amabilidad, humor y apoyo sin esperar nada a cambio.

Por encima de todo, Chuy amaba a su familia. Su esposa y sus dos hijos eran el centro de su

mundo y su mayor orgullo. La vida que construyó con ellos lo era todo para él, y su amor por

ellos era constante, inquebrantable e incondicional.

Chuy será recordado por su calidez, su risa, su fuerza y la alegría que trajo a la vida de tantas

personas. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue demasiado corto, el amor que dio y los

recuerdos que creó vivirán para siempre.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa e hijos, que llevarán siempre consigo su espíritu.

Que descanse en paz eterna.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a asistir al velorio el lunes por la noche, de 18:30 a 21:30, en la Iglesia Católica St. Jude, ubicada en 402 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ. La misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el martes por la mañana a las 10:00 a. m. en la misma iglesia. Se ruega llegar antes de las 9:30 a. m. El sepelio se realizará a continuación en el Cementerio Gate of Heaven, en Berlin, NJ. Los arreglos funerarios están a cargo de la Funeraria Popiolek, en Barrington, NJ.
