Howard "Tom" Page, Jr.

Howard (Tom) Page, Jr. passed away on January 13, 2023 at 87 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan C. Page. Father of Cheryl Johnson (Paul), Allison Connor (Sean) and Howard (Tom) Page, III (Thyra). Predeceased by daughter Patti Page. Grandfather of Eric Rhoda, Christine Grandizio (Anthony) and Sara Fetzko (Holden); Dylan, Ryan, and Brielle Connor, and Evelina and Karina Page. Five great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Tom was a lifelong Barrington resident where he attended Culberson School, Haddon Heights High School. Upon graduation he worked at Page Brothers Lumber Yard. Attended Camden County College and Thomas Edison University. He was in the National Guard for five years. Tom served on the Barrington Police Department 30 years retiring as Chief of Police. He was a past member and President of the Camden County Police Chiefs Association. Former member of Barrington Fire Company. He was a Training Officer and Firearms Instructor for the Camden County Correctional Academy and Sheriff’s Department for 17 years. Served on Barrington Council for 9 years and four years as Mayor. He was a past member and Captain of the Barrington Ambulance Squad, a former member/coach of the Barrington Girls Softball, and coach for the Barrington Little League. He was also a member of the former Barrington Men’s Bowing League for+ 25 years and member of the South Jersey Senior Softball League. He was also a long-time member of PBA Locals 30, 328, 351 and 600. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday morning from 8:30am at POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1PM.
