George R. Murray, Jr.

Passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, of Barrington, NJ, age 100 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Laura. Devoted father of Patricia Brooks, and Joseph Murray. Loving grandfather of Pamela, Elizabeth, Joseph, and George. Great-grandfather of Danielle, Michael, Guinevere, Andrea, and Tessa. Great-great-grandfather of Alina, Noah, and Tatum. George proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a long-time resident of Barrington and retired from the U.S. Post Office in Philadelphia. He was an all-around sports enthusiast and loved to cheer on the Philadelphia sports teams. Additionally, George loved to keep his mind sharp by completing puzzles and reading.
