Evelyn May Thompson

Evelyn May Thompson (nee Ehrnberg), age 93, formerly of Neptune, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at home in Barrington, NJ with loved ones by her side. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years James Thompson, Sr. and a son, Barry. Evelyn is survived by her sons James Thompson, Jr. (Patricia), Robert Thompson (Barbara), William Thompson (Patricia), Richard Thompson (Susan), Daniel Thompson (Geraldine), her daughter Mary Ellen McKenna (Stephen Teti), 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Evelyn resided in NJ for 65 years. After staying home for over 25 years raising her children, she returned to work, retiring at the age of 70. Evelyn enjoyed square dancing and camping with her family and friends, along with crocheting and reading.
