Colleen Robinson

November 19, 1951 — February 21, 2022

(nee Piechowski) of Barrington, NJ passed on into another world on February 21, 2022. Colleen was a strong willed and independent woman who was devoted to her family. It was no secret that she had favorites among the family which she thought was true and very funny! Her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren. Colleen loved to tell stories of her past and never sugar coated any of the details. It could be said that of all things “she was true to herself.” She was honest about her strengths as well as her weaknesses (sometimes). Colleen truly believed that KINDNESS MATTERS. If you were her friend, you knew it and she would let you know that she valued you. Career Colleen began her career at the Department of Defense in 1969 right out of high school. She worked for many military commodities while at the Defense Personnel Support Center, but her love was the Clothing and Textile Commodity. She really felt that she made a difference in the life of the military servicemen. She retired from DLA Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA on May 19, 2011. Family Loving wife of Christopher J. Devoted mother of Kimberly (John) Green, Thomas (Debra) Lyons, Christopher and Amy Robinson. Grandmom and Mom Mom to Bailey, Avery, Casey, Tanner, Maguire, Emma, Sawyer, and another grandson who is due in the Spring. Dear sister of Joseph Piechowski, deceased, (Pat), and Patricia Phillips. Services Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday morning from 9:30am to 11am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11am.
