William R. Capie, Sr.

On March 21, 2010 of Woodbury, formerly of Barrington and Runnemede, age 93 yrs. Beloved husband for 69 yrs of Clara E. (Nee Page). Devoted father of William R., Jr. (Nancy), Bruce (Doris) and Linda (Mark) Quitadamo. Dear brother of Lavern Johnson and Richard Capie. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Capie was a graduate of Haddon Heights H.S. Class of 1935. He was a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Union Local 393, and an active member of the Barrington Fire Company, the Barrington First Presbyterian Church, the Magnolia Historical Society, and a Charter Member of the Interboro Gun Club. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday morning from 10 am at the Barrington First Presbyterian Church, 401 W. Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ 08007, where a Memorial Service will take place at 11am. If desired, the family requests memorial donations to the Barrington First Presbyterian Church at the above address.
