On April 27, 2006 of Barrington, NJ age 89yrs. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie E. (Nee. Derrickson). Devoted father of Kenneth W. Jackson, Jr. at home and Neil Brereton Jackson, Sr. (Darlene) of Forest, VA. Loving grandfather of Neil B. Jackson, Jr. of Natick, MA, Devon Scott Jackson (Angela) of Lynchburg, VA, and Laura Erin Jackson of Lynchburg, VA. Great-grandfather of Gavin Jackson Coles of Lynchburg, VA. Also survived by 2 nieces, Jeannette West of Oceanview, DE and Helen Lampe of Pottstown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Jackson was a 1935 graduate of Roxborough High School. In 1937, Kenneth married his wife, Marjorie, in the Lewes First Presbyterian Church, Lewes, DE. In 1938 Mr. Jackson began working for U.S. Rubber Co. until 1946 when he began his career with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. where he retired in 1976 as a Supervisor at the Public Service Bus Depot, Camden, NJ. A 60 yr resident of Barrington, Mr. Jackson served as President of the Barrington School Board from 1955-1963 and as Chairman of the Planning Board from 1983-1987. Kenneth was an active member of the Barrington First Presbyterian Church where he served as a Trustee. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to the viewing on Sunday evening from 6 to 9PM and again on Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd. Barrington, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday 9:30am at the funeral home. Interment Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes, DE
