On June 20, 2016 of Barrington, NJ age 88 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Githens). Devoted father of Larry(Since) Colozzi, Jr., and Janice (Jim) Buccigrossi. Loving grandfather of Bob and Crystina Colozzi and Jennifer and Jessie Buccigrossi. Mr. Colozzi was born in South Philadelphia where he graduated from South Philadelphia High School for Boys class of 1946. He later went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Larry retired from Billows Electric after 15 yrs of service. Mr. Colozzi was a longtime, faithful parishioner of St. Francis de Sales RC and later St. Rose of Lima Church. He formerly was active with the Barrington Girls Softball League, enjoyed baseball and his walks around town. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday morning from 8:15 -9:15 am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 4th Ave & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
