Harry M. Vincent

Went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2012 of Barrington, NJ, formerly of Clementon age 78 yrs. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Blizzard). Devoted father of Susan Eppley (Bill), Harry Vincent (Sandy), Grace Taylor (David), and Patrick Vincent. Step-father of William Lubonski (Dawn),and Jonathan Lubonski (Trish) Dear brother of 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his mother-in-law Charlotte Blizzard. Mr. Vincent proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Mellette during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, Harry was employed with Johns Manville for 26 yrs. During the last 10 years, Harry served the residents of Barrington as a Councilman, where he has overseen several departments including Public Safety, Finance, Health & Senior Services and the Judiciary. Mr. Vincent was also a life member of the Barrington VFW Post 7247, the Barrington Seniors, Young at Heart and Ascension Lutheran Church where he was presently a member and Past President of the Church Council. Prior to moving to Barrington, Mr. Vincent lived in Clementon, where he served on the Borough Council. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11am at Ascension Lutheran Church 534 4th Ave, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035 where a Funeral Service will take place at 11am. Interment with Military Honors Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. If desired the family requests memorial donations to Ascension Lutheran Church at the above address.
