Thomas J. Carr

On December 7, 2011 of Barrington, NJ age 89yrs. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee. Hearn). Devoted father of Thomas Carr, Barbara Weisenbach (Bill), and Robert Carr (Mary). Dear brother of James Carr and the Late Charles Carr Loving grandfather of Christopher, Luke, Casey, Shelby, Sarah, and Chloe. Mr. Carr proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was active with Barrington youth sports and served as the towns Youth Director for many years. Mr. Carr was also a member of the Villas Fishing Club, S.J. Umpires Assoc., Barrington VFW Post 7247, as well as a charter parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in St. Rita of Cascia Parish, St. Francis de Sales Church, Gloucester Pike & Willmont Ave., Barrington, NJ.
