On January 2, 2011 of Barrington, NJ age 89 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Dorsey). Devoted father of Diane(Craig), Robert(Shelby), and the late Gregory. Loving grandfather of Gregory, Jr., Andrea, Shane, Robert, Jr., and Jennifer. Great-grandfather of Nikolas, Carter, and Noah. Mr. Sari was raised in Wallingford, CT where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Sari earned a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and later earned his Master’s from Temple University. He dedicated his career to education for 35 yrs eventually retiring from the Stratford Public School System. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9PM and again on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30 am at the POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Rd, Barrington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10am at St. Rita of Cascia Parish, St. Francis de Sales Church, Gloucester Pike & Willmont Ave, Barrington. Interment In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford, CT.
